Creating a responsive site with rebrand for a marketing company
Adept was expanding its creative team by bringing me on as a designer and hiring a creative director. The goal was to enhance our offerings beyond digital marketing (which was the current focus) by delivering a more comprehensive digital and creative solution. This sparked the idea to rebrand and launch an updated website.
The challenge was that leadership wanted the site completed before the CEO's presentation, which was only a few months away. By the time the strategy and branding were mostly finalized, we had just two weeks left for design. Design and development then worked concurrently for the next three weeks to finish the project. Not an ideal scenario. This led to over a month of 50-60 hour weeks, including some weekends, to meet the deadline while producing a high-quality site.
Despite having no personas, wireframes, or formal information architecture—aside from knowing our target audience was C-level leaders—I adapted quickly and got the work done. This experience demonstrates my ability to navigate tight timelines, collaborate under pressure, and maintain a strong work ethic. While there’s always room for improvement, I believe the site turned out well, considering the circumstances.
UPDATE: Adept was bought by another agency and the site is no longer online
